Get Directions

The historic Cathedral town of Hereford is home to the largest medieval map of the world, the Mappa Mundi – so much more than just a map, it’s more a social snapshot of 13th Century faith and history. After immersing yourself in the fantastic local history and historic architecture you can take a strolling alongside the crystal clear waters of the River Wye. This is where you’ll find Bishop’s Meadow; once owned by the Bishops of the area it’s now enjoyed by all and where Prosecco In the Park will visit this year. Come join us and relax in the shade of the magnificent copper beech trees, sipping on a glass of Prosecco of course

Event Update: Prosecco in the Park, Abingdon – Postponed until Friday 26th July to Sunday 28th July (next weekend!) With all national weather forecasts predicting lightning and rain-storms throughout Friday & Saturday of this week, for safety reasons we have been forced to postpone the event due to be staged at Rye Farm Meadow, Abingdon for seven days and will now be staged on 26th, 27th & 28th July. “Naturally any postponement isn’t ideal and whilst we realise that weather forecasts can be unpredictable, the predicted lightning storms are enough for us to have to make this very difficult decision to postpone the event. Safety of our growing audience is always our first priority” explains Event Organiser and local Abingdon resident, Matt Bates. “Our event last year was such a success and with a much larger screen, live content and additional bars, food offerings and activities for young families, we really want to make sure that we stage an event that Abingdon are proud of – and we can only hope that next weekend is as hot and sunny as being predicted!
